Sheriff single launch party - Sheriff’s first self-titled album of songs is coming. On the 9th of January at the Windmill Brixton, they release their first single.’

THE MOTOR SHOW - revs up a gritty mix of garage fuzz and backcountry twang. A late-night joyride gone wrong. Music to crash your car to.

SHERIFF ‘The drained waterland of the fens was England’s last lowland wilderness: expansive and artificial, uncanny and beautiful. Sheriff is a character-driven cruise through Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Lincolnshire Anglo-Americana, songs sung by weirdos at speedways, airbases or service stations, mixing East Anglian folk with rockabilly, doo-wop, minimalism and noise. Meet bullies at Barway, flirts at the Anglia Motel, racers at Kings Lynn stadium, hate at Queen Adelaide, God at the Devil’s Dyke, and strangers at Ten Mile Bank. Sheriff will hide you in Thetford Forest, run you down at Swaffham raceway, or take you away from it all – finally – to the land of Baudelaire and Houellebecq.

ENGLISH GARDEN - post-wave contortionists mashing up spiky pop, rhythmic funk and postpunk, all which a nice layer of cornet-playing

SODDEN PELT - Bog trawl folk.

Plus the usual midnight karaoke session.
