AV DUMMY - AV Dummy (short for Audiovisual Dummy) are both a product and reaction to the world they’re living in. A band weary of the internet and social media, yet formed on those very platforms. AV Dummy began with rapper BUCHANAN and producer/composer Christy Carey bonding online, sharing a mutual dissatisfaction with not just bland, unchallenging music made to conform to algorithmic preferences and pre-existing biases, but also with cultural conformity in general.
