South African singer-songwriter Meelu combines folk with drum and bass elements in her songs to capture their unique poetic depth in both the message of the songs and the delivery of ethereal vocals, while still maintaining a sense of lightness to each of the songs. Only a few months into the project and prior to releasing her first song, Meelu has just completed a national tour of South Africa and is currently touring Europe and the UK as the support act for Casey Lowry, playing to crowds of 500 to 1000.
