Born in Maryland, USA, Jalen began getting into music at the age of 11 inspired by his father’s collection of jazz, hip-hop, soul and classical records.

Announced as top emerging solo artist by the Montreux Jazz Festival 2018, he also enjoys endorsements from the likes of Lauren Hill, Martha Reeves and Jamie Woon and has sold out venues in the UK, Germany and Switzerland. Pleasure to have him do a little seated show here!
