On the sad news of David Bowie's death almost two years ago, the Windmill was packed with people coming to dance and pay their respects to Brixton's most famous musical son.

This Sunday - a day before what would have been his 61st birthday - we will once again be we'll be celebrating the life and times of the one and only David Bowie on his birthday.

All night long DJs will be playing his greatest hits,. some obscure nuggets and tracks from related artists.

There will also be karaoke; sin p by emailing windmillbrixton@yahoo.co.uk.

Dressing up highly encouraged. Prize for the best one!

This a free event but we will be taking donations for MacMillan Cancer Support.
