FEMME is an ongoing project by Dani Ran and Grace Goslin dedicated to women in the music industry.

Born in early 2017, FEMME started as weekly radio show on Wired Radio as a result of both of us disappointed by the lack of representation of female musicians in mainstream media. John Smiths were, and still are, being broadcasted waaay more than Jane Does, when Janes are producing equally as great tunes. Both of us were quick to pick up on the injustice of it all, and dedicated our weekly slot to the X chromosome.

As much as we enjoy our radio show, we were still left feeling like a single slot on a radio station wasn't anywhere near enough we could do to fight our cause, and the FEMME collective was created.

Launching in late 2017, FEMME will be realising a zine, hosting club nights, and organising gig nights with all-star female line-ups.
