The Windmill presents:
Khora Fundraiser: Squid, Porridge Radio, Leatherhead, Suep
Squid + Porridge Radio + Leatherhead + Suep
Entry Requirements: 18+
A night of bands and DJs to celebrate one year since the opening of Khora.
Khora is a self-organised community centre in Athens, where refugees and local Greek people can access safe spaces for men, women and children as well as food, clothing, education, legal support and healthcare. Anyone who has spent time in Khora will know what a special place it is, a space where friendships have no borders, where love and solidarity conquers hate and discrimination. Please come along to help us celebrate and raise much needed funds to keep Khora open for many years to come!

Porridge Radio
vomit up ur life
"Porridge Radio has been crafting emotional psychedelic lofi vomit music for a few years, but has recently perfected that craft to a T. Hypnotic and raw, there is an element of honesty and pathos present in her music that serves a foolproof antidote to the real world. She sings, she shouts, she breaks the internal microphone on her laptop. What more could you want? A demented homage to Neil Young? A beautiful song about periods? You got it." - Memorials of Distinction
"Her songs will ease you into self-indulgence, throwing you into introspection, an experience which is created by the aesthetically captivating sounds she makes. The noises are angsty and the lyrics are perfect, combining wonderfully with her comfortable stage presence." - Fat Dog Presents
"for my next vid i think i'll finally move away from queerman visuals, although there's just something about man on man that lends itself to your music" - Jacob Engelberg
