Line Up

Los Pepes

Possibly the loudest powerpop band on Earth! Los Pepes are here to leave songs in your head and ringing in your ears! Inspired by the forgotten wax of obscure punk “no hit wonder” singles from the 1970s and touched by the melody of the girl groups of the 1960s, Los Pepes is punk rock you can dance too… New album "For Everyone" out now on Wanda Records. https://www.facebook.com/lospepesmusic http://lospepes.bandcamp.com

Sly Persuaders

Garage-noise-wranglers the Sly Persuaders distil surfed-up swagger and industrial-strength fuzz into something potent enough to take your eyebrows off. http://slypersuaders.com

Ming City Rockers

Ming City Rockers hail from the place so bad they put it next to Grimsby. It’s not that time forgot it ; time never knew it was there.

The band formed in 2012 in Immingham, a dock town near Hull and Grimsby, nicknamed Ming and known only for its petrochemical plant and being the home of Ian Huntley. Brought together by genuine outsider, working-class anger and a love of getting dolled up in tight blazers and ties, androgyny making their hair magnificent to sit around listening to doo-wop, The Stooges, Helen Shapiro and Magma, a 70s zeuhl band who sang in their own language.

Their singles have to date received praise and radio play from the likes of Q Magazine’s QTheMusic.com (‘Track Of The Day’), Artrocker, Louder Than War, Huw Stephens, Steve Lamacq and KEXP Seattle.

Huw Stephens of Radio 1 recently said “Ming City R*ckers are the best rock ‘n’ roll band ever to come out of Immingham” and he could well be right.

There’s 4 of them. They like 3 chords. 2 they like better.

The Empty Page

Inspired by the raw, organic, yet raucous, sound of 90’s era alt-rock bands, Manchester’s The Empty Page are ready to reshape the current landscape with the release of their spiky, caustic debut album, Unfolding, out now via Vociferous Records.

Despite having formed as recently as 2015, the three-piece band comprised of Kel (vocals, bass), Giz (guitar) and Jim (drums, vocals) have made an immediate mark on their local scene and beyond, and already had praise from the likes of Clash, Louder Than War and Punktastic.
The Empty Page have created their very own brand of pop/rock, straddling the line between grunge, post-punk and noise-pop, creating a sound that has an unerring ability to draw you in through it’s melodic choruses as well as it’s fuzzy, driven guitar lines. Having enlisted the skills of uber producer Garth Richardson (Rage Against The Machine, Biffy Clyro, L7, Melvins) to shape the sound of their debut record, The Empty Page are now preparing to unleash their sound to a wider audience.

The Fiascos

"loud & unapologetic, like a last orders bell..."

White Ape

A musical fist-fight between Johnny Rotten Rockabilly, The Fall, big melodic choruses and enormous hooks.

"The White Ape is outstanding – a potty mouthed genius earworm of a track.Thank God people are still writing lyrics like this that call it like it is – great vocal delivery too. Not the smallest chance the BBC will let me play it alas, but well done those men." - Tom Robinson, 6 Music (Feb 2016)

"The artful sneer of the best post-punk rushed with the infernal garage band beat" - John Robb, LOUDER THAN WAR

Calva Louise

Calva Louise fuse surfy riffs to fuzzy grunge pop. They’ve been heavily tipped as one of the 'Bands to watch in 2017' and called “the greatest indie rock band around right now” by The Metro. Having toured with Spring King they’re really making a name for themselves. "Not only are they near-impossibly tight while taking most of their cues from fast-tempo US punk (think Dead Kennedys rather than Ramones), frontwoman Jess Allanic’s surf-rock guitar solos are pin-precise." - DIY Mag https://www.facebook.com/calvalouise/
