The Windmill presents:
Nervous Conditions/Junodef/Pete Um
Nervous Conditions + JUNODEF + Pete Um
Entry Requirements: 18+
NERVOUS CONDITIONS
From Cambridge. Utilising twin drummers, cavernous sax, relentless bass lines, and howling vocals, the alarmingly green Nervous Conditions take the darkest and most guttural sounds of post-punk and re-appropriate them for the current age of austerity. The seemingly autocratic seven-piece take cues from The Fall, Gallon Drunk, Prolapse, James Chance, The Birthday Party, and Bauhaus as they rail against the tedium of provincial youth.

JUNODEF
JUNODEF's post-death, post-rock music is inspired by bands such as Warpaint, Chelsea Wolfe and PJ Harvey. After releasing singles and an EP, JUNODEF was praised by the Swedish music blog HYMN, who compared it to artists such as Emma Ruth Rundle, Tiny Vipers and Sonic Youth.
Debut album Ocean is out now on the Swedish label Rundgång Rekords. JUNODEF's precise, emotional live performances show them at their best - with a combination of distorted guitars, singing bass lines, stormy synthesizers and crushing percussion JUNODEF creates a unique, dark sound that shows you the future.
