WILLIAM

William is one of those lost bands of the 2000's that have thankfully not been lost forever. Having gone on hiatus five or six years ago, the trio has resurfaced sporadically and we're delighted to say they will be doing so here. Those lucky enough to have caught them play live will chew your ear off raving about the energy and intensity of their live performances.

If you imagine a mix of Superchunk, early Idlewild and something you can't quite put your finger on but sounds BRILLIANT, then you are part of the way to imagining William. In reality though their unique sound, a blistering skip-along maelstrom, is one of their many qualities.

YR POETRY

Yr Poetry is what happened when the respective solo projects of Junior (Fridge Poetry) and Alexei (Yr Friends), two quarters of critically acclaimed cult Brummie indie-rock band Johnny Foreigner, decided to work on songs as a duo. Similar in pace and intensity to William and equally as exciting (yet something altogether different), we're delighted to have them along for a rare London outing.

POINTS SCORING

is the new project from Dan Ormsby whose critically acclaimed band 4 or 5 Magicians kicked about the UK alt-rock scene in the mid to late noughties releasing an album on Smalltown America and picking up various "single of the week" accolades on Radio 1 / 6 music / the press. Backed by three superb musicians; renowned solo artist Matt McKee (guitar); Leeds/London multi-instrumentalist Amyas Varcoe (bass); and sometime Sludgefeast / History Of Apple Pie / Yuck drummer James Thomas; expect Dan to sing jaunty indie-rock tunes at you about various social issues, with more hooks than you can shake a fish at. This is Point Scoring's debut show. Be nice.

And....

followed by the "26" Club Night - an eclectic mix of alternative, rock and pop. Basically anything good and danceable! Expect an eclectic mix of styles from the likes of Duran Duran, ABBA, Nirvana, Oasis, The Replacements, Madonna, Sleater-Kinney, Beastie Boys, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and a whole lot more.
