In support of the Doc'n Roll Film Festival's presentation of "Before It Was Cool: The Brooklyn Beat from Lauterbach's", four Brooklyn Beat acts have crossed an ocean to perform. AL LEE WYER is the award winner singer-songwriter known internationally as the Bard of Brooklyn. M. WEST is derived from The Original Rays, a punk-pop band with a vicious sense of humor. Possibly from another galaxy altogether, KENNY YOUNG AND THE EGGPLANTS folk and roll style has earned a Herald Angel Award in Edinburgh and been featured on the BBC Live radio series. FRANK'S MUSEUM ranges from blistering punk to 15 minute raga jams. They caution audiences to strap in and take them where they've never gone before. They'll be joined by three like-minded chaotic south London acts in the shape of THE KITCHEN SINK BAND, DURA MATER and NEURO PLACID.

In conjunction with the 13th annual Doc n Roll Film Festival, the world’s home for counterculture music documentaries.
