Bray natives Scustin are purveyors of "Post - Funk" which they create by blending humorous storytelling with a jazzy funk take on indie rock. Their sound was created by imagining what would happen if Blindboy, Mike Skinner and Jamiroquai went for a boozy night out in Bray and wrote an album about it.
Tipped last year the Irish Times as ‘one to watch’, genre-bending Dublin artist Lucy Rice began Last Apollo in the depths of lockdown and has gone from an aspiring artist to an established one. Her influences include PJ Harvey, Indigo De Souza and Patti Smith.
With her debut indie-rock EP: “Ordinary Matter” earning acclaim from sources such as Hotpress, Nialler 9 and The Irish Times, Last Apollo has gained momentum across streaming services but it is ultimately her energetic live shows that make her and her band stand out.
Her new songs indicate a clear step away from her earlier indie-pop hits as Rice continues to carve out and explore a unique style of songwriting darker and more emotive than ever before.

Fresh off a national tour with Meryl Streek, Dublin's have been described by Clash magazine as “Barbed, dynamic and potent” and hailed by Gigwise as "Solemn and melodic with a deep reverence for the truth." They've already had lots of play on 6Music, KEXP and Radio X and that'll grow with the release of their new EP later this year.
Canned Pineapple is a 5-piece scuzz-pop and slacker rock group based in Brighton. The quintet consists of the songwriting partnership of Seán Drury and Oakley Gardiner alongside multi-instrumentalist and recording engineer Jude Allenby, guitarchitect visionary Gabe Rice and master of the rhythm stick Charlie Pringle. A band of brothers waggin out. Canned Pineapple is the result of interplanetary telekinesis between the great beyond and the great norm.
