Slow Dance presents:
Butch Kassidy, Fräulein
Entry Requirements: 18+
A socially distanced and seated event.
Slow Dance presents a socially distant show from Butch Kassidy, whose explosive, immersive post-rock compositions and deafening live performances place them amongst London’s most exciting new guitar projects. They create coruscating walls of sound indebted to Swans, Slint and Godspeed You! Black Emperor by way of the members’ affinities for improvisation, minimalism and metal. Made up of Fionn Murphy (Vocals, Guitar), Aron Murphy (Drums), Tom Madden (Bass) and Levent Ceylan (Guitar) they formed in early 2020 and their first release was the closing track on Slow Dance Records' 2020 compilation. On the strength of early live shows, the band were long-listed for Glastonbury’s Emerging Talent Competition and invited to perform at BBC Radio 1 Huw Stephens’ ‘Presents’ showcase.
Support comes from one of the most exciting new bands we've been tipped on recently, Fräulein. Originally hailing from Northern Ireland and Netherlands retrospectively, the now London-based duo formed around Bristol in 2018, garnering a reputation as a ferocious live act.
