It's time for LAST SUNDAY.... After more than two years of putting one, let's call it, eclectic Sunday half-day sessions at the Windmill every month, Scott and Dan have grown up and got those type of jobs were there's no time to be messing around running clubnights. So, for the last ever LOST SUNDAY, they've invited some new fresh faces and some of their favourite bands (including their own, of course). Drunken DJs follow the bands.

GME (Blenheim Gardens)
GME (or Green Monkey Experiments to their acquaintances) has one goal - to make grimey DIY industrial pop. The band members are whoever will play, and the gigs are whenever they can be. The songs are only available on analogue cassette. They also count the Lost Sunday guys as members so expect a stupid, fun party set with outrageous attire.
www.myspace.com/thegreenmonkeyexperiments

VIDEOSPRINT (Guildford)
Surrey's finest return for their second Lost Sunday. Everytime we listen to these we imagine ourselves in some trendo New York bar and we feel cool as f@*k! So stick on your Wayfarers and sharp suit and get your arse over!
www.myspace.com/videosprint

LINDA'S NEPHEW (Cambridge)
Amazingly hooky and upbeat, Cambridge's hardest working band return to Lost Sunday by populist demand.
www.myspace.com/lindasnephew

VIOLET VIOLET (Norwich)
Femipunk all-girl trio blasting out a fun mix of stuff, from infectious disco beats to hard screaming riot grrrl noisiness.
will have you coming away from their gigs with the feeling you've seen something quite special [even if it is fabulously foul mouthed. NME

DEXTER (Birmingham)
...draw some of their influences from Lennon to The Playerz and back round to The Cribs for good measure, all mixed with a few gallons of Glenns (the exciting) Vodka and a mouthful of Marlboros...

It's Windie's Birthday party!

THE INDELICATES (Brighton)
... have rapidly been growing in notoriety, but not in the look-at-us-we-trash-stuff way, but with their cleverly crafted, ambitious, pop songs, such as....'Waiting For Pete Doherty To Die'. The NME reviewed the band, calling their songs 'stunning' and pointing out that they 'share their sharp wit and social commentary with 90s brainiacs Black Box Recorder, but soften it with a spoonful of Belle & Sebastian's twee-yet-epic ensemble indie'.
www.myspace.com/theindelicates

RESTLESSLIST (London)
Perhaps the most original band in yonks... The brainchild of Matt Thwaits (Electric Soft Parade) and Ben Elliot, the line-up was expanded to include Tom White (The Brakes, Electric Soft Parade) and the band Zettasaur. Their debut album, 'The Rise and Fall of the Curtain Club' was released in June on Life is Easy Records and they've toured with Battles and Mystery Jets.
Sounds like a madman on crack at some horrific funfair. Has to be heard, and seen, to be believed.
www.myspace.com/restlesslist

YOU & ME (London)
Pretty antifolk ditties.
www.myspace.com/youandmebandpage

MALCOLM KAKSOIS (London)
A self proclaimed 'internationally unknown singing sensation', the Bakerloo Line's very own Malcolm Kaksois brings a touch of ear-twisting, do-it-in-yer-tube-cab, dirrrrrrty anti-folk genius wherein ice cream vans, sexy dentists and Goth funerals come out in force.

FORMS FORMS FORMS (London)
FORMS FORMS FORMS
Guitar pop trio from New Cross.
It's a rather refreshing sight to see a London band more interested in creating hooks and memorable tunes than fitting into a scene and inhabiting a corner of the NME. ....all fast-paced rhythms and jerky riffs. - godisinthetv
www.myspace.com/formsformsforms

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCERS
Public Service Announcers are a really young band. Inspired by the intelligent pop of Prince and Talking Heads, the tempo and manifestos of bands like Minor Threat and Refused and fuzzed out blissful synths of M83; the first PSA rehearsal took place in March 07. Since then a lot of people have been paying attention. Remember the name.

THE EPSTEIN (Oxford)
It's been a great past few months for indie-country darlings The Epstein, with a single released on Truck records and a win in the Glastonbury Emerging Talent competition. They've also completed their debut album and sold out many shows in their hometown, and consistently pack them in in London too.

Sun 20thSo So Modern's 'Leaving the UK' Party
*So So Modern
*Lakes
*The Sneaks
+ guests
Back in April of last year some hooded young Kiwis stepped on British soil for the first time armed with synths and tunes. Since then they're stunned audiences across Europe with their all-action indiesynth shows and Transgressive released four seven-inch singles by them on the same day.
We're super proud to announce that they're coming back to the Windmill for a farewell party before they go back south for a few months. This is going to be a killer!

SO SO MODERN (New Zealand)
One definitely NOT TO MISS, especially as they're going down under to breed more synths or something before they return in summer. they caused a stir last year when Tranbsgressive released an EP in the form of four 7-inchers but most importantly, So So Modern are a jawdroppingly good live band. We'll let the journalists tell you why:
A bit like Futureheads playing Chic songs, at double-speed, with utterly nutzoid bits ... and performing them like B-boy cyber men - NME
A high velocity artrock punk-funk four-piece with ... the imagination of Foals, the attitude of Devo, the complexity of Liars, the dancing IQ of Daft Punk and the insane energy of Polysics and with four keyboards on stage, vocoder, guitars, drums. - Artrocker
www.myspace.com/sosomodern

...and So So Modern will fuse their performance with:
TRIMASTERBATE (NZ)
..the REALLY Cheeky Girls!
www.myspace.com/trimasterbate

PLUS Further live sets from:

LAKES (Kent)
Infectious punky grungers with releases on Signature Tune and Scaredy Cat records.
Lakes dip their toes into the experimental waters of post rock whilst keeping one foot firmly on the solid and more rugged terrain where their roots lay, creating sounds akin to Bear vs Shark and Part Chimp – Subba-cultcha

 RW HEDGES (Bude, Cornwall)
Sometimes you just can't better great songwriting but the mysterious RW goes the extra mile by infusing a range of references to bygone eras, styles and influences from the 20's to the 90's (but giving the 80s a wide swerve). This is the London launch for the fine new 'Almanac' album.
